Thoughts are with the friends and family of the driver, and with the community as a whole. The driver, Ivo Mitkov, was the owner of Renner Motorsport, a driver in many different racing series, and seems to have been very well respected in the community. Although it sounds like the accident may have been the result of driver error (based simply on what I’ve read), it just goes to show that we can never be too safe. It’s a risk we all take when we go out on a track, but it’s a risk we should constantly be trying to reduce.
Stay safe out there, everyone!

And that’s in a caged and prepped car. RIP. Stay safe out there.
